Hello!
I am preparing for a swimming competition that will take place on the 19th of August and I really want to delay my period, which is due .. August 19th.
As far as I have read, the most efficient method would be taking birth control pills. If I got it right, the period will start 21 days after you've taken your first pill.
I am considering beginning today, but today is also the 14th of my menstrual cycle (and I've had all the signs of ovulation).
My question is the following : if I start taking the birth control pills today, will the period still start in 21 days?
Thanks alot! :)

take norethisterone pills. this should delay your period, but i suggest you see your GP first. your GP will advice you when to take it and for how long.

bodies work in many different ways so not all methods will work for all women.
i suggest you seek professional medical opinion if you want to delay your period.
