Bleeding in 1st Trimester
5 Replies
kellykay - October 31

I'm 11 weeks pregnant, and for the last couple days have been noticing some bleeding. At first it wasn't anything serious, just some spotting. But last night and today it seems to be picking up more and more. I'm not having any real pain with it, but I'm still concerned because my doctor told me that I have a weird, tipped uterus.

Anyone have any insight?

Thanks :)

i have no idea what tipped uterus is. is it a serious condition? anyway, how's it going right now? have you been treated yet? please update us with your condition.

You have a tilted uterus, which tilts toward the back of your pelvis.

pregnancy actually cause your uterus to move forward, but that is will go back to its natural form by weeks 10-12 of your pregnancy.

nothing to worry dear, you don't even need any treatment while pregnant.

Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, and I don't know if I am posting where I should. Apologies in advance.
My wife is now pregnant for the first time. She has no history of miscarriage or other pregnancy complications. Her family also has no such history.

Mahsa is now 12w5d. She had a subchorionic hematoma at 6w. She used Cyclogest suppositories till now. Please note that an ultrasound at 11w3d showed that the hematoma had gone completely. But her doctor told her today that she still needs to take the suppository till the 14th week. The doctor also prescribed a monthly Proluton ampule after 14 weeks.

My question is whether she really needs to continue taking Cyclogest and the monthly Proluton. Is this absolutely necessary or the doctor is just being too cautious. I hear that progesterone has a lot of side effects. Mahsa is already having stomach upset, etc.

I look forward to hearing from you all. Thank you!

Best,
Hossein
