Hypertension after childbirth

ok i was diagnosed of gestational hypertension,started at 37weeks pregnant. and have been on medication eversince then,my child is soon 2yrs and im wondering when it ll pass so i can plan for another baby.has anyone had anything similar? and what steps did u personally take?as most ppl iv talked to only had it till some weeks after giving birth.

no idea. but i think you shouldn't be in a hurry for another pregnancy until this issue is resolved. it's a common but serious condition. better safe than sorry. take care!

it actually depends on how high your blood pressure gets. the more it's severe, the earlier in pregnancy it appears and the greater your risk for problems.

your baby's well-being is most important. i would suggest to focus first on your condition before trying to get pregnant again.
