New Chlamydia Testing For Men
Chlamydia if left untreated can cause PID, infertility, and ectopic pregnancies in women and lead to infertility in men. However, previous testing for the STD was expensive and complex. Now, UK researchers have come up with a new simple urine test which can detect the presence of the Chlamydia infection in men, which doctors hope will help to reduce the number of females who become infected each year. This new test is relatively inexpensive and can provide results within an hour. This then allows doctors to treat patients on the spot.
