is it safe to have sex during menstruation? if not, what are the health risk for this?

it's totally safe to have sex during your period. in fact, it helps ease the symptoms of PMS most especially when you achieve orgasm. however, you will be prone to bacterial infections or STD because your cervix is open during your period which allows blood and bacteria to pass through.

there is a risk for developing PID or pelvic inflammatory disease. so if you are thinking of having sex during your period, think again..

actually it's not bad nor harmful to your body not unless your partner has a sexually transmitted disease. either way, it's always important to practice safe sex.

you will be prone to bacterial infections or STD because your cervix is open during your period which allows blood and bacteria to pass through.

So if you have any abnormal symptoms, you should see your doctor immediately, and do some relative tests to find out the exact cause. If your situation is really led by bacterial infections , chlamydiaor gonorrhea, you should seek for suiatble treatment.

For curing these kind of bacterial infections , chlamydiaor gonorrhea, you could try herbal supplement "fuyan pill" or antibiotics.

Or consulting online doctors, such as Wuhan Dr. Lee's TCM Clinic, before you decide the treatment.

Hope this is helpful for you.
