your opinion on surrogacy

Wanted to start this thread to know your opinion, opinion of people who has tried surrogacy and those who would like to try!
what are pluses and minuses of surrogacy? is it better to try trough clinic or try to find the mother by yourself?
and if try through clinic what to do when this procedure is illegal where you live?
will you go abroad?

it's not a bad choice but personally speaking i don't recommend it because it's too expensive. aside from that, surrogacy involves complicated legal issues. for me it's a NO NO!

i would rather choose through clinic as this will go through legal procedures. also medical records will be an easy access for you. it could be a little expensive though.

I wouldnt get one, i have 2 kids, if i cant have a 3rd i will give up. bit if it was my 1st i pro would look into it. maybe even ask family 1st.
