Has anyone used VIP for treating irregular menstruation?

VIP Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide, I came across it on wikipedia on a hunt looking up things might help for my irregular menstruation, and though not immediately tied, it does have a role in prolactin secretion and also vaginal lubrication, so two unique things to women.
But what really got me interested is that-It is also found in the brain and some autonomic nerves. One region of the brain includes a specific area of the suprachiasmatic nuclei (SCN), the location of the 'master circadian pacemaker'. The SCN coordinates daily timekeeping in the body and VIP plays a key role in communication between individual brain cells within this region. Further, VIP is also involved in synchronising the timing of SCN function with the environmental light-dark cycle. Combined, these roles in the SCN make VIP a crucial component of the mammalian circadian timekeeping machinery.I dont know too much but I was just wondering if supplementing with this might help me with my irregular menstruation problems.
Can anyone tell me if they have tried this? Does it make sense? Here is a peptide that has seemingly specific female functions and it also regulates circadian system, and when I think irregular menstrual cycle I think maybe because my circadian system is out of whack. It just seems like it makes sense
